PITTSBURGH, PA – Tecum Capital welcomes Kaylee Hedlund, our 2024 Small Business Investing Scholar Program summer intern. Ms. Hedlund is an incoming senior at Penn State University, studying Finance at the Smeal College of Business.
Launched by Avante Capital Partners in 2019, the Small Business Investing Scholars Program is the first internship program intended to promote diversity and inclusion within the SBIC industry. This 8-week program offers top undergraduate students interested in a career in finance or private equity the opportunity to work in one of the participating SBIC firms across the nation.

We have participated in the Small Business Investment Scholars program since its inception four years ago, and our team is excited to have Kaylee join us for the summer.
