Tecum Exits Investment in DBi

Tecum Capital Partners (“Tecum”), formerly known as F.N.B. Capital Partners, is pleased to announce the successful exit of its investment in DBi Services (“DBi” or the “Company”) through its recapitalization by a Chicago-based private equity firm.  Tecum’s investment in DBi closed in January 2014 and was part of a recapitalization to support the Company’s continued growth and expansion of services.

“We were excited to partner with the management team at DBi and to play a role in the continued growth of their business”, said Stephen Gurgovits, Jr., Managing Partner at Tecum. “We wish them all the best in the next, exciting phase of growth for their Company”.  Tecum partnered with Alcentra and KCAP to finance the junior debt portion of the recapitalization of DBi.  “We were very pleased to have been able to partner with Alcentra and KCAP; they proved to be excellent partners throughout the duration of the deal”, noted Matthew Harnett, Partner at Tecum.

DBi is headquartered in Hazleton, PA and was founded in 1978.  The Company provides infrastructure maintenance, operations and management solutions primarily in North America for government agencies, utilities, private industries, railways, retailers and other infrastructure owners.
