Matt Steve currently serves as Vice President with Tecum Capital Partners. In this position, Mr. Steve conducts in-depth research and analysis of mezzanine and private equity investment opportunities and assists senior professionals in structuring, researching, and negotiating investments in target companies.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Steve worked on numerous lower middle market transactions totaling over $400MM in value for the Pittsburgh Area investment bank Strategic Advisors. At Strategic Advisors, Mr. Steve primarily focused on advisory services for sell-side, buy-side and recapitalization transactions for middle market firms. Before joining Strategic Advisors, Mr. Steve worked as an Associate at Curtis Financial Group, a boutique investment bank in Philadelphia, PA. His focus at Curtis was mergers & acquisitions and capital raise advisory services for middle market firms. Prior to his position at Curtis Financial Group, Mr. Steve completed PNC Bank’s Credit Training Program and worked as a Credit Officer for PNC’s insurance and asset securitization credit group.
Mr. Steve is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). Mr. Steve is also a member of the ACG Future Corporate Leaders Board, which was created to promote networking among young M&A professionals in the Pittsburgh Area. Mr. Steve has an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Financial Economics from Westminster College. Mr. Steve currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife.
